It just makes it hard to tell which movie came before what and what date of year it is and makes it extremely hard for newcomers to get into and follow.
For example the 1st released movie Overlooking View is chronologically 4th and the 2nd movie Murder Speculation is chronologically 1st. That’s the main and only main problem I had with the show. The show can be incredibly gruesome at times with a graphical rape scene, bloody dismemberment and a whole lot of screaming and crying
It’s does a great job of leaving you in the dark (a bit too well at times though) but at the same time respecting your intelligence and doesn’t simply spell everything out for you and lets you put a few pieces and clues together to make 1 + 1 = 2. You see every movie focuses on a different mystery case and different people but all are interlinked with each other, All are every interesting giving you enough time to care about the character but doesn’t dwell on them too long so that you get overly attached to them. And that’s the main premise of the show, without going into spoiler territory.
